Personal & Academic Competency Evaluation – Undergraduate Pathway

Overview

The PACET™ Undergraduate Test is an academically grounded diagnostic designed to help secondary school and early undergraduate students explore the intersection between personality, learning preferences, and academic direction. It is not an achievement-based test. Rather, it offers a personalized map of fit between the student’s internal traits and the types of study fields and educational environments where they are most likely to succeed.

Purpose

  • To help students identify fields of study that align with their cognitive style and personality
  • To reduce academic mismatch and future program-switching by increasing alignment early
  • To support educators and advisors in providing individualized academic counseling
  • To introduce students to structured self-reflection practices foundational to university success

What It Measures

The assessment is based on the RIASEC framework (Holland’s Theory of Vocational Personality), a globally recognized model that categorizes student profiles across six core domains:
